After nearly 50 years of playing guitars, John has finally designed one! Then the tough work began as luthier Dave Bertoncini (top right) breathed life into this stunning new 'John Standefer Signature' Model.

When in a mellow mood, John reaches for his Paul McGill classical.	There's nothing like an archtop electric guitar when it comes to swing or jazz ballads. John's guitar of choice is the Eastman 'Pagelli'.
The “Vintage Collection”- John with his 1929 Johnny Marvin Professional tenor uke, as well as his latest prized addition, a fabulous little 1923 Gibson L-3.
	The Paul McGill resophonic guitar is John’s number one choice for single note lines because of its haunting ‘singing’ quality.
