A world-class fingerstyle guitarist, John is the winner of the 2002 National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship and the Open Division winner of the 2004 International Home of the Legends Competition. John has performed and taught in venues around the world and appears yearly at the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society convention in Nashville to honor his mentor.
A gifted and enthusiastic teacher, John has published numerous books, tab and videos to help guitarists of all levels improve their skills. He also offers one-on-one online lessons via Skype.
